Warriors’ Draymond Green Faces 5-Game Suspension After Altercation with Timberwolves

Draymond Green has been suspended for five games by the NBA after his altercation with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors’ forward put Rudy Gobert in a headlock and was ejected from the game. The NBA stated that the suspension is due to Green’s history of unsportsmanlike behavior. In addition, Klay Thompson, Jaden McDaniels, and Gobert have been fined $25,000 for their involvement. This is Green’s fifth suspension, as he has a history of on-court controversy. He will miss games against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
