Tiger Woods Competes in First Round In Eight Months

Tiger Woods competed for the first time in eight months Thursday at the Hero World Challenge at Albany. Despite a 3-over 75 score, he lost eight shots out of the lead, and was better than only two players. Woods noted “his lack of feels” and that conditions were tough throughout most of the day, but he still managed to be 1 under for the round through 14 holes. Woods explained that his lack of commitment contributed to his mistakes, something he plans to improve upon in subsequent rounds. Despite feeling plenty sore after the round, Woods has no regrets about his early return.
