MTA’s Park Slope 7th Ave. F/G Stop Welcomes 3 Brand New Subway Elevators
November 21, 2023MTA unveiled three new elevators at the 7th Ave F and G train station in Park Slope, Brooklyn for increased accessibility. MTA Chairman Janno Lieber referred to this as a long-awaited initiative that was pushed by the Park Slope community. The station lacked accessibility for a long time, as stated by Quemuel Arroyo, the MTA’s chief accessibility officer. These three new elevators at the Brooklyn IND stop represent the seventh subway station to receive accessibility improvements from the transit agency this year.
