Knicks Stage Unbelievable 21-Point Comeback to Upset Heat in Tournament Thriller, 100-98

The Miami Heat fell to the New York Knicks in a nail-biter on Friday night after a last-second three-point attempt by Jimmy Butler missed its mark. Despite the Heat’s commanding 21-point lead in the third quarter, the Knicks managed to mount a comeback and clinch a 100-98 victory in front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden.

Jalen Brunson and Immanuel Quickley led the charge for the Knicks, scoring 24 and 20 points, respectively, to fuel the fourth-quarter rally. The Heat’s Bam Adebayo contributed a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, but a strong performance from the Knicks’ bench ultimately sealed the win for New York.

Despite the loss, the Heat still have a chance to advance to the knockout rounds in Las Vegas, while the Knicks are in good position to qualify with a win over the Charlotte Hornets. Moving forward, the Knicks will face the Phoenix Suns on Sunday in a non-tournament game.
