Jets Coach Robert Saleh Encourages Team to Focus on Controllable Factors
November 27, 2023Following their fourth straight loss last Friday against the Dolphins, Jets players had last weekend off to rest. After returning on Monday, Jets coach Robert Saleh challenged players and coaches to improve. With back-to-back losses against the Bills and the Dolphins, the Jets stand at 4-7, having gone winless in the month of November. One reason for their struggles has been their defense, allowing high point totals against the Bills and Dolphins. The Jets also have a weak run defense, allowing 140.3 yards per game. However, players see this as an opportunity to improve. Adding to the Jets’ struggles is their struggling offense, which has scored only 10 touchdowns this season and ranks near the bottom in yards and points per game. The team is optimistic despite the struggles, as they welcome the return of injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the facility. Rodgers has been rehabbing from an Achilles injury and is working to return to the field before the end of the season.
