Since the NBA season ended last spring, it has been a rough year for sports around here. The Yankees and Mets didn’t make the playoffs, the Giants are struggling, and the Jets still have a shot but it’s looking like a long shot. However, with basketball season underway, it’s worth discussing the Knicks and Nets for the city basketball title. The Nets, despite last season’s struggles, are surprisingly young and deep this season, while the Knicks are playing well. It is something to look forward to.
