Secret Service Agent assigned to Biden’s granddaughter Fires Weapon

A Secret Service agent assigned to President Biden’s 29-year-old granddaughter fired at three individuals who tried to break into an unmarked SUV in Washington D.C. late Sunday night. No one was hit, and Metropolitan police were notified to watch for a red car in the upscale Georgetown neighborhood. The agents were with Naomi Biden, the daughter of the president’s son, Hunter Biden. The unoccupied Secret Service vehicle was parked at the time of the incident. More than 6,000 vehicles have been reported stolen in the nation’s capital in 2024, with over 750 carjackings reported. Naomi Biden, a D.C. native and 2020 Columbia Law School graduate, will celebrate her first wedding anniversary with Peter Neal, a 2022 University of Pennsylvania law school graduate, on Sunday. The president and first lady were in Delaware when the incident occurred and are expected to return to Washington D.C. on Monday.
