School Counselor in Pennsylvania Faces Charges for Inappropriate Relationship with Teenager

The 35-year-old counselor is accused of engaging in a romantic and sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student, starting in 2022 and escalating in June. The situation was discovered when a relative walked in on the counselor kissing the boy in her home. The teenager then confessed to his mother, who contacted the police. The relationship is said to have begun during a field trip and continued in the counselor’s office, as well as in the boy’s bedroom. The counselor was released on bail and faces charges including institutional sexual assault. She is currently on administrative leave from her job at the school.
