Revamped Blueprint Revealed for Broadway Junction’s Large-Scale Office and Housing Development in Brooklyn

November 25, 2023 By admin Off

The city reached a major milestone last week with developers publicly filing long-awaited rezoning plans for the project near Broadway Junction. The plan, named “Herkimer-Williams,” will result in 600 affordable units, office space, and retail space across four buildings. The development will happen in four phases over a decade, with input from the community on affordability levels and building heights. The developers have committed to making 100% of the units affordable. The site will also have a CUNY presence due to interest from local stakeholders, though some are concerned about a new office space. Construction is not expected to begin until 2026, with occupancy to follow in 2036.
