Resilient Dog Survives 10 Weeks with Deceased Hiker, Shows Remarkable Recovery

Finney, the loyal Jack Russel terrier, was discovered by her owner, Rich Moore’s side more than 10 weeks after his death while hiking in the Colorado mountains. Authorities confirmed that Moore died of hypothermia, and Finney had lost half of her body weight during this time. However, less than three weeks later, Moore’s wife stated that Finney has almost fully regained her weight and strength. She is now 3 years old, very clingy, and enjoys going on hikes with Holby. The family is grateful for Finney’s miraculous survival and her comforting presence.
