Kyle Connor’s standout performance propels Jets past Devils

Kyle Connor scored twice and added an assist to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 6-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night, tying him for most goals this season with Toronto’s Auston Matthews. Nikolaj Ehlers also had a pair of goals, Cole Perfetti scored once and added an assist, and Morgan Barron and Josh Morrissey contributed as well. Timo Meier, John Marino, and Dawson Mercer scored for the Devils, who have lost three straight. The Jets will host Buffalo on Friday while the Devils will visit Pittsburgh on Thursday.
