Curtis Lazar and Nathan Bastian also scored for New Jersey, while Bryan Rust scored twice for Pittsburgh. Sidney Crosby extended his point streak, and Erik Karlsson tied a record for points by a defenseman in NHL history for Pittsburgh. The Devils will next host the New York Rangers, while the Penguins will visit Carolina.
