Jayson Tatum Dominates Knicks, Once More, with 35-Point Display

The Celtics beat the Knicks 114-98 behind Jayson Tatum’s 35-point performance at TD Garden. Tatum had 18 points through the first three quarters before exploding for 17 in the fourth. He shot 13-of-23 from the field and 5-of-12 from downtown, also recording seven assists and six rebounds. Tatum’s fourth-quarter scoring spree included multiple tough shots that left the Knicks frustrated. Knicks star Jalen Brunson acknowledged Tatum’s skill and expressed the need to better prepare for him in future matchups. The Knicks will have to wait until February for another chance to contain Tatum’s scoring.
