Israeli Hostages Discovered near Shifa Hospital in Gaza

The bodies of two hostages kidnapped by Hamas last month were discovered near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces. One of the victims, 19-year-old soldier Noa Marciano, was found dead in the vicinity of the hospital. Marciano was abducted and killed by Hamas terrorists during a surprise attack in which approximately 1,200 Israelis were killed and 240 people were taken hostage. The military has confirmed her death, and her remains have been transferred to Israeli territory. Another hostage, 65-year-old Yehudit Weiss, was also found dead in a structure near the hospital. Hamas’ attack prompted Israel to launch airstrikes and send troops into Gaza to combat the terrorist organization. The conflict has resulted in a high number of casualties on both sides.
