Honda Recalls 300,000 Accord and HRV Vehicles for Seatbelt Issue
November 27, 2023
Honda is recalling more than 300,000 Accords and HRVs from 2023 to 2024 due to a potential front seatbelt defect. The missing piece in the front seat belt pretensioners could increase the risk of injury in a crash, as it is responsible for tightening seatbelts upon impact. This error occurred during assembly and the company has not received any reports of injuries or deaths related to the missing part. Dealers will inspect and replace the pretensioner part for free, and affected owners will receive notification letters via registered mail.
