The sister of a man shot inside a Brooklyn laundromat spoke to him just hours before four gunmen caught on video ripping a $60,000 gold chain from his neck, leaving him dead. “They killed him. They assassinated him,” Shaneaqua Perkins said of her younger brother, Money Perkins.

The shocking video shows the final moments of Money Perkins’ life as he is shot and killed while handling a washing machine inside his laundromat on Clarendon Road. The suspects are seen wrestling with Perkins, who is ultimately shot multiple times in the face and torso before the assailant grabs the pricey chain and flees. No arrests have been made at this time.

Regular customer Nicole Simmons, who narrowly missed being at the laundromat during the incident, described Perkins as a humble and caring man who always went the extra mile for his customers. His sister also praised her brother’s helpfulness and professionalism in running the laundromat.

Perkins’ sister and niece expressed their anger and sadness over the brutal killing, with the niece describing her uncle as strong, kind, and loving. Despite the pain, Perkins’ sister vowed to seek justice for her brother.

Money Perkins leaves behind three children, with another on the way. His family and the community are in shock over the senseless killing, but are determined to see his killers brought to justice.
