“Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner to say “I Do” on Live TV in January

Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner has quickly planned a wedding following his proposal on national TV. The 72-year-old reality sensation proposed to Theresa Nist on ABC’s senior citizen-focused franchise. They announced that they’ll tie the knot during a live ceremony on Jan. 4. Host Jesse Palmer revealed that the pair will be sent on a getaway to Italy, which Turner shared would serve as their postnuptial vacation. The retired restaurateur chose between Nist and Leslie Fhima as the final two contestants among the 22 vying for the final rose. Turner explained that at their age, they don’t have time to waste. The couple is excited and eager to get married as soon as possible.
